We know that having experienced nurses providing home care is as important as being able to communicate and understand patients and their needs. That is why our JagaPros are only PRs or Singapore Citizens.

In Person Interview

Knowing who is going into your homes is important to us. This is why we need to know the Care Professional and assess if he/she is fit to be a JagaPro. Only then, we will be assured to send them into your home.

Background Checks

Safety is our priority. Background checks is another way that we make sure the JagaPro going into your home has no criminal activity or risk that you will be in anything other than safe and reliable hands.

Licensed and Trained

All our JagaPros must be certified and trained. Nurses have 2 years of experience minimum, with a valid license with Singapore Nursing Board while Care Aides have home care experience and caregiver training.

Our JagaPros will submit updates whenever they care for a client, whether it was just an hour of respite or twelve. Based on their observations, they will highlight care needs and recommendations to help our clients.

Government hospitals and agencies trust our JagaPros in managing their patients’ care needs. We work with HCA hospice, Singapore Cancer Society, NUH and many other organisations to provide quality home care for their patients.

Introducing Care Aides

At Jaga-Me, providing you with holistic home nursing care is our focus. This includes constantly making things better and ensure you get the right level of service at the right price.

To make that happen, we expanded our team with a solid group of Care Aides who are trained, certified (minimum of WSQ certification) and ready to be there caring for you. You will enjoy the same trusted quality service for home caregiving and medical escort with savings of up to 22%!

Who are Care Aides?

Care aides are individuals who support a client’s basic care needs at home.

Our selection criteria are stringent – every one of our Care Aides are trained above the typical industry standard, having a Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) or higher certificate in caregiving.

Unlike nurses, they are restricted from providing services in medical procedures (that requires medical devices and clinical-based skills). However for respite care or medical escort, Care Aides would provide much better value!

What services are Care Aides able to provide?

Care aides support basic care needs such as:

  • Showering
  • Basic Range-of-Motion (ROM) exercises
  • Medical escort
  • Elder-sitting
  • Nasogastric (NG) tube feeding

What services do Care Aides refrain from?

Care Aides refrain from jobs involving:

  • Suctioning
  • Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) tube
  • Ventilator
  • Tracheostomy
  • Dressing using specialized wound products

If you do need such help, our nurses are well placed to help!
