Making the Future in Healthcare Together with Singtel

future-makersAt Jaga-Me, our mission is to provide affordable and accessible healthcare to the community. While our healthcare system is struggling to handle our rapidly ageing population in Singapore, we believe that home care can be a feasible alternative and complementary service to support our pioneer generation.

In recognition of this vision, Singtel Future Makers program has selected Jaga-Me to be part of Singtel Future Makers program. The program is aimed at impact entrepreneurs who are leveraging technology to address pressing social challenges in Singapore.

Jaga-Me entered the Singtel Future Makers program in October 2016. Out of 70 teams, only 7 start-ups were chosen. Jaga-Me is honoured to have been selected as one of the 7 winners to embark on the accelerated program, starting this month. This is program will allow Jaga-Me to enhance the value we bring to our consumers and care professionals in Singapore through Singtel’s well established network and the mentors’ experience. The program will also provide up to $180,000 of incentives to these 7 startups.

Singtel Future Makers is all about openness and collaboration. Joining this community provides Jaga-Me with the unique opportunity to co-innovate with Singtel, fellow social impact enterprises and social service partners, so that Jaga-Me can excel in our mission of making quality home nursing care accessible to our communities.

We look forward to sharing some exciting updates in the days ahead! We also want to recognize the strong support of Singtel, Unframed, raiSE and IMDA (IIPL) in Jaga-Me’s journey. This journey would also have not been possible without the backing of NTUC Income! Together with our healthcare colleagues in hospitals and VWOs islandwide, we look forward to making a better future together with you!
