While you can’t join us as a nurse, you can still join us as a nursing or healthcare assistant to work alongside our JagaPro nurses and learn important home nursing skills on the job while caring and providing quality healthcare for our elderly patients in Singapore. Elderly healthcare requires patience, compassion, and empathy. These are key skills which define an exceptional home health care aide. What it takes:
  • Singaporean or Permanent Resident preferred
  • Candidates must possess certification in caregiving from a reputable institution
  • Candidates must physically assist with transferring patients
  • Commit to a 5-days work week including weekends, public holidays, & night shifts
  • Must we be willing to take care of Covid positive patients (Full PPE training and attire will be provided)
  • Candidates must be caring, energetic, motivated, and responsible at work

 

Qualifications Accepted

  • NITEC in Community care & Social Services
  • NITEC in Nursing
  • HMI Institute of Health Sciences’ Certificate in Healthcare Support
  • WSQ Certificate in nursing care-related courses and/or relevant work experiences in nursing care
  • SRTC Caregiver Training Certificate and/or other renowned caregiver training providers
What to expect:
General Caregiving
  • Attend to patients’ needs in their daily living activities such as showering, diaper changing, feeding, light housekeeping, personal grooming & hygiene, and other bedside nursing
    duties
  • Monitor basic vital signs such as temperature taking, blood pressure, hypo-count monitoring, and charting, etc.
  • Assist in transferring and positioning the patient
  • Escort clients for their medical appointments
  • Assist with conducting daily exercises for the patients as prescribed
  • Reminding patients to take medication
